The RolfBench™
by Wells and Pete Beautiful, custom, handcrafted height-adjustable oak benches for Rolfing® and Structural Integration bodywork in the seated position. I ended up making a few Rolfing benches with my good friend Pete Hoffman, because I simply couldn’t find any to buy. They came out so beautifully, we’ve decided to make these available (with pride) via the web. We have two models: the very professional “Classic” and the very economical “Basic.” |

* “quartersawn” is a method of sawing oak so that the cut is made parallel to the wood’s medullary rays instead of across. This special cut yields a limited quantity of top grade boards featuring ray flake, the decorative wavy pattern prominent in quartersawn wood.
** “tenon” construction entails boards whose ends have been cut for insertion into a mortise. A blind tenon is concealed within the mortise. A through tenon projects beyond the depth of the mortise.
